Dr. Hakim is a fellowship-trained spine specialist who earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rocky Vista University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. He went on to complete multiple American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-accredited postgraduate training programs, including a traditional rotating internship, a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a Pain Medicine fellowship at Larkin Community Hospital in affiliation with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in South Miami, Florida.
Dr. Hakim is also board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, further reflecting his advanced training and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered spine care.
